Yeah, this was funnier in my head when I had been up for 18 hours straight, in the wee hours of 2 A.M. I try to make jokes that, even if you had not played the game, you would still get it. When I was drawing this, I needed a threat that was vague enough to be funny, yet needed to be in-game. "Releasing into the wild" was okay, but not everyone knows you can release the Pokemon you've caught and don't want anymore. I also contemplated sending them to a "breeding farm", but again, not everyone knows that you can breed Pokemon. I then thought of the box system for storing your seventh and up Pokemon. Shoving a mass number of Pokemon into a box seems cruel, and when I first saw it in the original Red, I first thought of a massive crate, and all the Pokemon inside cramped, cold, and uncomfortable. I guess this is all coming back in this strip, as Pidgey genuinely seems fearful of the box. Or is it just me?

Also, I don't see how I expect a Metapod, a Pidgey, and a Pikachu to beat Brock. That's just mean, I think.
